I'm a Sussex portrait photographer working in Lewes, Burgess Hill, Uckfield, Haywards Heath and all across Sussex. Originally from a small town in the Netherlands, I've lived in over five countries, including Costa Rica and Argentina, but Hove very much feels like home at the moment.

I'm passionate about connecting with clients to understand their stories and what drives them. My goal is to help you feel relaxed in front of the camera, making the experience informal and enjoyable.

I understand that being in front of the camera can feel daunting. But it doesn’t have to be that way!

Booking a portrait session is uncommon for most unless needed for business. However, there are many reasons to schedule one for yourself. Whether for online dating, LinkedIn, social media, or as a gift, professional portrait photos can enhance your confidence massively.

When you book a session with me, my goal is to make the experience as fun as possible. We’ll create images that feel authentic, natural, and most importantly true to you, so no stiff poses or forced smiles. Think of it as spending time together, where I capture moments of you just being yourself.

I shoot on location, whether that’s a place with personal significance or simply somewhere beautiful in nature - this could be at the beach, the South Downs, or anywhere you like.

My approach leans toward a documentary style, focusing on candid, organic moments rather than rigid direction. While a portrait photoshoot might not be entirely documentary, I prioritise capturing the genuine moments over the posed.

  • Your choice of area where we can shoot at multiple locations with up to 2 outfit changes

  • Private online gallery with 30 edited images: 10 edited hi-res photos are included for download and more images can be purchased

* A one hour portrait photoshoot at a location in Lewes is included. I’m happy to travel anywhere in the UK, but an extra fee to cover my travel costs will be added.
